Mandatory Credit: Raymond Carlin III-Imagn Images Fox Sports will broadcast a record 69 matches live from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the network announced on Wednesday.
That's the most in American network television history, and nearly twice as many as the 34 games Fox broadcast during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
"Fox Sports' presentation of FIFA World Cup 26 is going to be the biggest production in our company's 32-year history, and we couldn't be more excited to showcase this once-in-a-lifetime event with more matches on broadcast television than ever before," said Eric Shanks, CEO and executive producer of Fox Sports.
The remaining 35 matches of the 104 total being held across the United States, Mexico and Canada next summer will be shown on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). Every game will be available on the Fox One streaming service and the Fox Sports app.
Fox Sports will reveal its complete broadcast schedule following the World Cup draw, which takes place on Dec. 5 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
The tournament begins June 11 and concludes with the World Cup final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
